Climate Finance Advisory

Access to climate finance is one of the biggest barriers facing high-quality carbon and climate projects in Africa and the developing world. TerraCarbon Consults bridges this gap by providing strategic climate finance advisory services; helping project developers and organisations identify, structure, and access the funding they need to develop and scale their projects. This spans a wide landscape of funding sources, including voluntary carbon market revenues, Green Climate Fund (GCF) grants, GEF allocations, bilateral development finance, impact investment, and blended finance mechanisms.

TerraCarbon advises clients on how to position their projects to attract the right type of finance at each stage of development; from early-stage grant funding for feasibility work, through carbon market pre-financing arrangements, to long-term offtake agreements with corporate buyers. They assist with investor pitch preparation, due diligence readiness, financial modelling, and the structuring of revenue-sharing arrangements that are fair, transparent, and bankable. The goal is to ensure that promising climate projects do not stall for lack of funding.
